Renewal of AutoCAD maintenance subscription

Today I was able to renew my AutoCAD maintenance agreement through my reseller.  However, the maintenance agreement status has not updated in my account dashboard and I am getting concerned as the agreement expires in a few days.  There does not appear to be anyone to call at AutoDesk.  I have opened a case through AutoDesk support but their response times have been less than useful so far.  Any suggestions?

If you just renewed it today through your reseller its not going to appear at the Autodesk level or even for you to see the updated information for a couple of days.

In addition your reseller may not even processed the information through their Autodesk channel at this point.   As long as you processed the paperwork (at your end) before the expiration date you are fine.

Update: @Anonymous  Also with the weekend just around the corner, your informaiton will most likely get processed on Monday or Tuesday of next week.  Nothing is probably going to happen today and over the weekend.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the quick reply.  I spoke to the reseller directly who said he did in fact process it this morning, but of course YMMV.  I do have the paper trail to show that we paid for the renewal today.  In case there is an issue next week, can you please suggest how I could go about pursuing the issue directly with AutoDesk?  As I mentioned, turn-around time for support cases so far has not been very good. It would be nice if there was a person I could speak to (or at least correspond via email with) directly.

We are in the middle of a large AutoCAD project so it's critical we don't have a lapse in support.  I won't go into the reasons why this was a last-minute drill to get the agreement renewed...let's just chalk it up to big-company purchasing departments and many hundreds of yards of red tape. 🙂

I understand your concerns and you will be fine.  Even if you were able to speak to someone today they will most likely not see any of this information.

In the end your reseller is your point of contact for Autodesk.  If something ends up being a problem next week your reseller should and/or will resolve it.  That's what they are there for.

I fully understand you have a large project and don't want anything to impact it but you will be fine.  At this point I would just wait until the beginning of next week and you will see everything worked out.

Have a great weekend (and don't worry about it over the weekend)..  Smiley Wink
