RENEW aCESS FOR EDUCATION LICENSE

Hello I am student in the U.A.School, and for the past 20 days I have been trying to renew my license but with no success, I have followed all the protocols but nothing.

I received notification that in 30 days my license would expire, so I followed the steps and did the renewal, but he only renewed my license until 25 November 2022, which is a few days. And I keep getting the notification of the license expiration, and today it says 4 days left and every time I try to renew again it says I am eligible for the license and I will have the license for another 12 months. The problem is that it keeps saying that I only have a license until November 25 2022, and the notifications say that I have 4 days left, I am very desperate and need urgent help.

Hi @carlajumpe this definitely sounds like something we can help with. It seems to bee two issues in one, one of which we can hopefully fix immediately  🙂 

 

So the two issues: 
1. Your renewal is only lasting until November. This could be a bug or it could be down to the system thinking you will stop being a student in November. Can I ask exactly when you graduate and also when you completed your renewal? 
2. You have renewed educational access, but not your product license. We can hopefully fix this now!
Since you currently have educational access until November, it sounds like it may be a product license issue rather than an education verification issue. For context, Education verification and renewal gives you access to download education products but does not automatically assign you a license for each specific product. You are assigned a product license when you download the installer for that product from the "Get Products" page on the education website. It is saying that you only have 4 days left because your old product license runs out in 4 days at the same time as your educational access did. You have renewed your educational access until November, but not got a new product license for the software you are using. 
Hopefully, this is the issue. To fix this, go to the get products page, make sure you are signed in (once you are it should tell you that you have access until November 2022 at the top of the page as you have described), and then click the "get product" button to download the software that you are using from this page. Complete the steps until the installer starts downloading. You do NOT have to use the installer and can delete it before it finishes downloading, but this step activates a product license on your account. 

Once you have done this, go back to your software. Sign out, close the software, open it again and sign in. Hopefully, you will have access again! 

Hopefully, you will not have the 4 days remaining banner anymore and you can start using your product again!
