Reactivating AutoCAD 2015

Anonymous
Not applicable

Serial Number / Product Key: xxx-xxxxxxxx / 001G1

Erorr Code: 30

It says I was eligible for a home use licesence behalf of subscription. The subscription is still active, but the home use license is expired. When I open the program, it asks me to reactivate, but if I proceed with the process with the code I got on my email, it continuously have the error. I tried to delete the program and reinstall, too, but it ended up having the same issue.

I use AutoCAD2015 Korean Version, so I am not sure if my screen shot of error would be helpful but I will attach anyways just in case.

I appreciate any hlep. I need to use it as fast as I can for the projects. Thank you.

Hello jchoi45 and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like your license has expired. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Although the forum rules caught your serial # and "X" it out, never and I mean never share any sensitive information here such as email address, serial #, subscription account number, business address, and phone/cell #. This is a world wide peer to peer network and such items should not be posted here for security reasons.

Now I'm assuming since this is a legacy version of AutoCAD, what type of perpetual license do you have for AutoCAD 2015?  Standalone or network?  If is network, the home user serial # you were issued is only good for 1 year.  Yes your subscription (maintenance plan) may still be active, but home use activation for network perpetual license is only for 1 year or if your maintenance plan expires in less than a year, the home use is only good for that amount of time.

Come back and tells us what type of license you have. One more thing..  When you state subscription..  You need to clarify if this subscription belongs to something else or you mean the maintenance plan for this AutoCAD 2015 product.

Hello @Anonymous

Welcome.

I have some information below & believe your educational license expired, please review the information on what to do.

How to Extend Student Software

Educational software includes the current version and 3 versions back.

Educational Software is offered for a term of 3 years.

If it has been over 3 years since you activated that version of AutoCAD 2015, then you can not re-activate a previously used version when the version expires you must download another version listed in the Education Community if you are still an eligible student

If you are no longer eligible for student software under the terms & conditions you could purchase a subscription.

It seems it has been over 3yrs, because you had access to a 3ds Max 2013 version.

Keep us posted. Smiley Happy
