"The (motion) solver license could not be checked out from the license server" Error - CFD

I have just finished configuring my CFD simulation and when trying to run it I received the message "The motion solver license could not be checked out from the license server." It stated that a potential reason for this issue is that I do not have the advanced motion license for CFD. Currently, I gain access to CFD and other Autodesk applications using the educational license, and I was wondering if the advanced motion license for CFD would be a part of the educational license. If not, how could the advanced motion license be purchased in order to run the CFD simulation? Thanks!

I use an educational license and sometimes this error pops up. I then run CFDConfig.exe with admin rights and usually decide and sometimes just start the model from the 0th step, this also helps

Today this problem has not disappeared. I increased the recommended setting by 2 times. now this error does not appear

License Time Out Error

When starting Autodesk CFD, if a Licensing "Time Out" error occurs, you will need to modify the System variable called "FLEXLM_TIMEOUT" to allow for a longer licensing checking time. You may need assistance from a system administrator:

  1. From the Windows Start menu, click Control Panel.
  2. On the Adjust your computer's settings dialog, change the View by to either Large icons or Small icons.
  3. Click the System icon.
  4. From the menu on the left of the dialog, click Advanced system settings.
  5. On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables...
  6. From the System variables list, click on FLEXLM_TIMEOUT, and click Edit...
  7. Enter a larger value in the Variable value field.
  8. Click OK on each dialog to save the settings and close the respective dialog.
