Product License - Out of Time License checkout timed out.

WHY!!!!   I log in automatically to my Autodesk account when I turn on my computer and start autocadlt. BUT I constantly get the "your product license has expired" and it shuts me down. This is REDICULOUS!  I thought the recent updates were supposed to fix this, at least that's what the notes stated!  I'm so tired of fighting to have my autocad work properly! I have my desk top computer which is constantly attached to internet, so I expect it to work every time.  I also have a laptop which I take on the road, and IF I'm not connected to the internet, I get it more often.  I've been using autocad for over 25 years! I should be FREE by now!  I just don't get the idiotic "license checkout timed out!  What do you want to do?  (HINT: I want to work).  There is NO OPTION in this box to check out my license, or to put in a code, or anything, you have 2 options. shut down with saving or shut down without saving. THESE ARE NOT OPTIONS! The ONLY option for fully licensed users is to SAVE, CLICK ON SOMETHING TO TAKE ME TO FIX MY STUPID TIMED OUT LICENSE SO I CAN GO BACK TO WORK.  THIS IS ASININE!

And before you ask, I have EVERY update installed.

I did not read all those links you provided. I got my AutoCAD working prior to receiving your reply. Thanks for the reply, but I truly expected the update to have taken care of this problem.  I "ended the task" of the license checker, then restarted it (mainly because your instructions said to end the task, then download some software, BUT the link to the software returned with a 404 message. Thanks for that. I went back to the task manager and restarted that application and BEHOLD, the license checker worked again. I shouldn't have to do this every 3-6 months!  I'm a subscription holder and your software should be informed of this fact. Sorry, I'm a little ticked off, I have work to do and AutoCad (it's in your name - "auto") isn't helping!

Also, in answer to your questions about my updates. AutoCAD tells me I have ZERO updates to be installed. it claims I'm up to date. I remember downloading and installing the update about this license checker issue. I sincerely had hoped that it would solve the problem. But alas. No. I think I'm good for now.

Please don't take this wrong,

I share the links, because I can't count over the 20 years doing support, I've seen them say, I have all the updates, then when verified they don't.

Not saying you, but I do it to cover me on my answering / helping.    It could be any of the one.

Some as of new has been it's been getting blocked for verification. That's why I shared the URL' / Permissions.

Hoping this helps get you all set too.

Best

Mike
