Problems with Maya 2018 freezing upon loading

Hi I am having major problems with Maya  2018 , it keeps freezing upon loading . I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but with no change. Grateful for any help here please

Sorry to hear that. 

Please try to follow the steps below: 

1. Sign in as Administrator or Create a New User Account (Full Control user permissions)
2. Check the Operating System needed & the required updates by reviewing the system requirements for the software & Certified Graphics Card Drivers
3. Make sure you have an updated graphics card driver by checking the manufacturer's website then (Assign the correct Graphics Card)  
4. If your graphics card supports DirectX or OpenGL switch to it instead by going to CPU settings on your operating system & set the supported display type 
5. Temporarily disable your Antivirus software & Firewall
6. Temporarily disable UAC on  Windows 7 or Windows 10 
7. How to reset Maya back to defaults
8. Update your product with the latest service pack or Hotfixes by visiting the Autodesk website or account
