.pit file crash

The issue I seem to be having comes from a problem with the .pit file.

I've tried to install Maya 2019 on my computer with the necessary system requirements. When it is finished installing, and I launch the program it crashes before even opening the software and gives me a brief flash of the message:

"JsProductLicenseFact.loadSelectedProductInfoKey - Unable to get selected product key due to unknown problem."

I found this link which seems to describe my exact problem, but I see no solution https://arnoldsupport.com/2019/06/18/the-case-of-maya-and-the-missing-productinformation-pit-file/

I have tried cleaning, uninstalling, and reinstalling even with different versions (2018 and 2020) but nothing has fixed the problem, it always gives me this same error.

Hello @Anonymous,

Please make sure to conduct a "Clean Uninstall" of the previous installation this method removes all residual files, then use the MSfixitTool to complete it. After completing the uninstall, reinstall the application again using  the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account.

Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.
