NLM Updated, but still showing old version

Hi,

I updated our Network License Manager over the weekend to the latest version so it could check out 3dsmax 2020 licenses.

In help-> About in LMTOOLS it shows as the latest version installed (v11.16.2.0), but the status enquiry reports back:

WKS08: license server UP (MASTER) v11.13.1
Vendor daemon status (on WKS08):
adskflex: UP v11.13.1

So in the autodesklicenselog, I'm just getting this every time I start 3dsmax 2020

11:00:31 (adskflex) Request denied: Client (11.16) newer than Vendor Daemon (11.13). (Version of vendor daemon is too old. (-83,21049:10054 ""))

The old NLM was uninstalled and the new one installed in it's place, so it should all be up to date.

Any ideas on how to get it updated properly?

Thanks.

Check that you don't have multiple instances of LMTOOLS installed, e.g. under C:\Program Files. Some users copy and paste it as if it was a portable program instead of installing it correctly and this can cause issues.

Also, I would uninstall the current installation and reinstall as it seems like your daemon was not replaced with the new version.

Most likely if you go into your license manager and config services, the information there is still pointing to the old location and files of your original version of LMTOOLS.  When you uninstall it doesn't remove those crucial files and because the default installation location of the new license manager is change, the license manager is still remembering the old location.
