Memory Leak - AutoCAD LT 2019 88GB (!) Virtual Memory Used

Hi,

I am experiencing a repeated issue where AutoCAD LT 2019 will crash and I will lose two of my three displays. When I check the event viewer, I see the following type of event around the time of the crashes:

Event ID: 2004
Task Category: Resource Exhaustion Diagnosis Events

Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: acadlt.exe (2228) consumed xxx-xxxxxxxx bytes, sqlservr.exe (8720) consumed 458178560 bytes, and Revu.exe (1248) consumed 362725376 bytes.

So, AutoCAD LT is using 88GB (!) of virtual memory.

I am on Windows 10 Pro 1909. Intel Core i7 8700, Nvdia Quadro P4000, 32GB DDR4.

The drawings are 2D and not very large at all.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this issue and how to troubleshoot and fix? I have already updated the GPU driver and installed all program updates for AutoCAD.

LT2019 is 3-years old, not new, so what is new or different when all of this started? Could be a new version anti-virus, could some other non-related software add or removal, new setup with three monitors, something else you might not think was too important to mention yet?

Does ABOUT command list your version to be the current 2019.1.2, or an earlier version? If earlier, you have updates to install.

Hello @info4LFFZ

This may happen while opening or saving a file, or while working in one or more open drawings. It could also happen only on specific files or on any file.

If the excessive memory usage happens when saving, it may occur after one save or it may be progressive with each save using more and more RAM.

Seemingly, the issue was related to the particular files at hand. I was able to resolve the issue by running PURGE and AUDIT on them. Thank you for your help.
