Maya 2017 - Create Deployment

Support / Anyone,

Our site has a network license for Maya 2017 and I'm looking for the option to "Create Deployment" for Maya 2017.  We use this to silently deploy Maya to a number of machines automatically entering the serial and product numbers.

Our Maya license is granted through the Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate and the only download option available is "Install" and not "Download Now".  Downloading the "Install" executable will only allow the "Install on this computer" option and doesn't allow the needed "Create Deployment" option.

Please send instructions for downloading the source files capable of creating the deployment so our installations can be silently executed.

Thank you,

Hi @amadi,

Welcome to the Community. Could you try using this link instead? Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

I'm trying to do the same thing and am unable to find a 2017 Maya download or ability to Create a Deployment from the web installer.  The link provided above is not active.  Within the "Design & Creations Suites downloads for Deployment only" page it only goes up to Maya 2016.

The web-installer does not allow for a deployment to be created.

So, download and install per:

1. Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent (http://autodesk.creativevirtual15.com/autodesk/bot.html?isJSEnabled=1&businessArea=Root.Front%20Desk...) and follow the download links to your product.
2. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first. Do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.
3. Navigate to your download folder location and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download).
4. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk.
5. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start.
6. Follow the installation steps for your product

If you want the full recommended installation steps, click on the installation link in my signature.

Good luck on your installation.

Thanks Mark.  Yes indeed the Virtual Agent provided the correct download.  Thanks.  It provides the Mac version of Maya up to 2016 but there is no download for Maya 2017 for Mac.  Any idea where I could get that?

Thanks much
