Issue with network license maybe? Error:2:1

Have one machine where we are getting an error. First time I've seen this one.

I have done unintsall reinstall, and also cleared licensing type and reset.

In the one dialog... Licensing  dialog is behind An error has occured in the script on this page.

I have clicked Already have a license... and selected Network.  Error still occures.

I am wondering if this is another add-in that is causing this issue?... but have not attempt to disable addins yet.

We have other machines with same add-ins, but without issue.

Please help.

Mike, I don't believe this would be related to any other add-in, its something going on with the internal Autodesk licensing, and layout is just stuck until it can get past that problem since it can't even get an assigned license.  I think it is best to move this thread over to the licensing and install support forum and see if support has seen something similar before.

if this was autodesk licensing wouldn't his other software have issue?  This is a network license and all works until a license is requested via your Point Layout GET LICENSE function call.  All of his other software runs fine and secures a network license just fine.

The window you are seeing, with the Script error, is part of the licensing system, and not specific to Point Layout.  It's simply not an area that I can troubleshoot, otherwise I certainly would.

Thanks,

FYI:  found this nugget:

Will try this solution first thing Wednesday AM and will report back.

Thanks

Unfortunately that is only valid for APL 2019 and before.  There is a button on the stand alone Point Layout Plugin app for 2020 and new that does the same, however I don't think resetting license type will help since you are not able to get it set in the first place.

I think I've found part of the issues... at least with Point Layout 2022.

Our network license file is only good on products up to 2021.  I have generated a new license file and trust this fixes the issue.

See screen shot.

I see there is a new Flexlm Network Licence Manager.  11.18.0.0.

I am wondering if this couldn't be part of my issue.

Please see the attach mp4

Definitely worth updating to that newer version, yearly releases have tended to require an NLM update:
