Is it possible to use old version's license key for new versions?

We got an Autocad 2011 LT, and wish to use an Autocad 2018 LT instead, or at least 2015 LT. Of course the activation key of the old one doesn't work for the new one. The question is: is it possible to alter the old license key to make it work on the new one, or upgrade it?

This e-mail adress doesn't work anymore so please send answer to the it-support.hu@imi-hydronic.com .

No, unfortunately, it's not ...

You'd need to upgrade.

Now, if you're on Subscription, you'd have the same serial number for 2018 ( and 2017-2015) with a different product key for each year. That's how the new subscriptions are setup.

Why would you think a license for a 7 yr old product would activate a newer license?  In addition there's no upgrade path anymore for perpetual license.  Its all subscription based type of license.

I know its only an email but you shouldn't share that information here for security reasons.
