Inventor will not open after 2019.5.1 update installed.

After running the file INV23510_x64.msp file to update Inventor 2019 to version 2019.5.1, the program will not open. Upon trying to run the application, there is no typical Inventor splash screen. However, when looking in Task Manager, however, there is an instance of Inventor 2019 shown. The only way to get back to having a functional session of Inventor is to uninstall and reinstall the previous Inventor 2019.5 update. Any idea why Inventor will not open properly or even display a splash screen when attempting to run it at the 2019.5.1 update? Thank you.

After applying the Inventor 2019.5.1 update, does the product build in the "About Box" display the updated version and build number of the latest update you installed or from (Control Panel> Programs>Programs & Features >Installed Updates)?  

1. Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background 
2. Log in as Administrator (check your permissions, full control) or create a new profile
3. Make sure you have an uninterrupted high-speed connection to the internet & try adjusting your LAN  & proxy settings etc.
4. Temporarily disable/disconnect security features such as Antivirus, Firewall, VPN & UAC on your Windows operating system
5. Just in case the download of the Inventor 2019.5.1 update was unsuccessful, delete the download & re-download it, then try again. Inventor 2019 Updates page, or download and install an Inventor 2019 update from your Autodesk Account.

Unfortunately, no. We cannot get Inventor 2019.5.1 to successfully install/run. After the update is "installed," Inventor will not open. We do not even get the Inventor splash screen as you typically would upon opening the program, let alone being able to access the "About" box to check version. We keep having to uninstall this update and revert, as it has not been usable for us.
