Inventor suite 2013 upgrade not removing previous version.

Hi there,

We recently upgraded our Product Design Suite 2012 by simply installing the 2013 version over the current 2012 version. Installation completed successfully, but I noticed that the 2012 products are still intact and running parallel to 2013 versions. I was under the impression that it would actually upgrade/convert 2013 to 2013.

We don't require the 2012 products anymore. Should I now remove the 2012 products one by one through Windows control panel?...or is there another recommended way to uninstall them?

Please advise.

Hi TonyvanVuuren6908 and welcome to the community!

Installing a new version of Autodesk software is very much like installing a completely new product. The older versions remain installed and if you wish to remove them from your computer you will have to do so manually.
