Inventor LT 2018 download

Anonymous

we've got a really poor download speed at work, out LT Inventor we think is timing out and giving us a failed install.

at home I have 100mb connection but I can't see the links to download from.

do Autodesk still have the links? I seem to remember that when we installed 2016 we had to download 2 large files.

TIA

There's a couple of ways to properly download and install your Autodesk product to your machine.  Please review this article and the solution it provides.

Hello @Anonymous,

You can use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account or via the AVA | Autodesk Virtual Agent. I have also included the download link below.

Browser Download

Inventor LT 2018 (87.4 KB)

Thank you for posting to our forums.

What links are you talking about..  A few of us have provided you with solutions and links..  The links I provided all work (just checked them).

Have you gone to  Autodesk AVA and downloaded from there?

I suspect that @Anonymous is talking about the link that @natasha.l had in this post.

....which, when executed, opens a PDF that looks like this:

But, having said that, I'm not sure why @Anonymous has not just logged into his/her Autodesk Account and downloaded it from there.

Sorry..  I was in assumption mode..  Smiley Sad  OP had already indicated @natasha.l link wasn't working so I was assuming they were trying the other links that were provided in my posting/article..

we've managed to navigate to AVA and are currently downloading at a whopping 1Mb and less.

our IT are actually on site today so hopefully we'll get this sorted.

ETA of the download is currently about 2.5 hours.....I'll keep you posted.

thanks for the help

Obviously, I'm in assumption mode too.

The real question here is why is it so difficult to find the downloads that users need?

It's not as if the downloadable file is marked/tagged for a particular account.

The old Virtual Agent at least was semi-useful for finding and downloading product downloads.

I just don't understand the goal in making downloads difficult to obtain.

eventually it's downloaded and installed except we picked the wrong version....

there is Inventor LT which is the one that has been downloaded, sadly we needed the suite which Autodesk have called: Autodesk Inventor LT, would it have not been easier to have both with Autodesk or without?

anyway we're nearly there as I'm currently slowly downloading the correct one....and I mean slowly!

thanks for all your help guys and gals

we also read the article and tried the Autodesk Prerequisite Checker, downloaded it and it seems that it was an incomplete download as we tried several times and simply couldn't run the file.
