Inventor crashes after I click on New

When I double click on Inventor 2023, it opens and then when I click on New option, the window freezes. I use an 8 GB Ram machine. Fusion 360 and Netfabb are working seamlessly. Inventor is crashing . Kindly help

might just be a bug... what happens if you hold CTRL+Shift > click New?

Oh is it ? I just clicked on new and inventor freezes. Not sure what to do.

to clarify: if it's "just" a bug, i think the autodesk staff will need to help you.

but it might be an error instead.

the  CTRL+Shift > click New would create a new part from a completly blank template, wich i thought might be worth a shot. If that did the same, sry i don't have any other ideas...
