Inventor 2017.3 or 2017.4 Hot fix fail, Service pack won't show in Help About

I have a PC that won't install the Hot fixes for IV2017.3 or IV2017.4 and they error out and say that the correct version is not found.

The 2017.3 and 2017.4 appear to install fine.  If I look in control panel it shows that SP3 and SP4 are installed.  But if I go to Inventor > Help > About it will not show any Service packs or Hot fixes.  All it shows is 2017RTM.  Almost like the .3 and .4 are not getting in the registry.

I've done 30+ other installs successfully off the same downloads.  I have Administrative rights and have Updated to the latest windows 10 updates.

I've uninstalled the SPs several times, run the Inventor reset utility with no success.

I skimmed the logs and nothing caught my eye (I'm a novice to logs).  I attached a screen capture showing the IV>Help>About, the Hot Fix Error I get, and the Control panel showing .3 is installed.  (I currently have .4 uninstalled)

I'm about to the point where I'll do a clean uninstall of Autodesk Products, but I have a fear that would be time wasted and not fix it.

Do I have a .net issue?  Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks Much!

@mikeh2

This has happened in the past to others and sometimes removing the R2, R3, and R4 version for Inventor has resolved the issue when they are installed again.  The best results is to remove Inventor 2017 completely, install it again and then apply 2017.R4 release and R4.3 update.

Hello @Anonymous,

You can also try to remove/uninstall all the greyed out updates listed here.

Then reset Inventor to defaults  & install the updates listed (Inventor 2017.4 then Inventor 2017.4.3) to try & avoid an uninstall.
