So it's that time of year to install the 2025-Autodesk titles like AutoCAD and Revit. Made a deployment. Try to install Revit first. The installer runs for hours. And the progress bar is slowly increasing. But when I check the Autodesk folder, there's no Revit 2025 folder. And when I check task manager, I notice there's no disk activity. There _is_ processor and network activity. Time to check the ODIS folder. The file DDA-UI.log is an interesting one. It reads many lines like this:
[2024-07-25T15:08:33.925Z] [6756] [debug] No progress after 105353, new simulated progress for {8C6163F0-DD83-3C68-A0C2-C39B93B18ECE} is 80
And at the same time, the progress bar shows the same number (80). It looks like there's no progress in installing Revit for 113558 (milliseconds?) and thus we simulate there IS progress by simply increasing the progress bar??? What is this?
