Installing on an offline computer

Dear support,

we bought a license of AutoCAD LT 2016 from our supplier. The only file I have is for an online installation. Is there any way to download the whole package for offline installation please ? Or do I have to ask the supplier to acquire the CD at AutoDesk ?

Best regards

Welcome to the community...

When you say supplier..  Do you mean you bought a brand new/unused version of the software from them or did you purchased a license fthey already had?

But to answer your question, go to the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.  Download all of the parts first and then go to your download location.  Extract (double click) part 1 and in a few seconds the extraction will start.   It will then prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk and once the extraction is finished the installation will start.

Always a good idea to back up the installer (along with SPs, hotfixes, serial numbers, etc.) somewhere for disaster recovery.

While automatic activation requires internet access it can be done offline through a manual process.  I recommend reviewing this first: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/installation-activation-licensing/activate-register/...
