Installing multiple copies of AutoCAD

So I was always under the assumption that multiple copies of autocad can be loaded on different machines at the same time as long as only 1 user was running at any time. (I am the only autocad user at my company so I am in compliance.)

So I recently got this.

1 seat = 1 user = 1 NT Login (extra installs are ok as backup only – Not to share seats – Not to use the license at the same time = up to 2 using concurrently)

As I said.. I am the only Autocad user at my company, so No. 2 users are not logging at once.

MY best and only guess is I kept Autocad running at the office and went home and logged in and now autodesk wants 8k for that.. What a bunch of greedy money hungry people.

Hello @darkoLERAU

The rule of thumb is 1 seat = 1 login on 1 device, so you should log off when you are done using the application on a given device. Please review the documentation below & the General Terms of Use to understand the usage limitations.

Maximum number of computers permitted for a subscription with single-user access

"A subscription with single-user access is activated when a Named User signs in with an Autodesk Account when the software is launched. Your subscription software can be installed on more than one computer. However, the Named User can only sign in and use that software on a single computer at any given time."
