Installing desktop subscription software on second computer at home workflow.

Hi,

I tried to install to my second computer through Autodesk acct but the 3dsmax software is not appear in installation package. FYI im on building design suite premium subsciption package. Could you clarify this and tell me the best way to install my second laptop? Do I need to uninstall on my first computer or should i request for home use licence?

Just install it using the same serial number and product key.  As long as you are not using it concurrently, you are ok.

The installation package does include everything except 3dsmax. I wonder why is it missing from the building design suite?

Are you 100% sure it's Premium rather than Standard? I ask because 3DS Max is not included in the standard suite where it is in premium... http://www.autodesk.com/suites/building-design-suite/included-software Did it appear on the first install you did? Maybe there was something that went wrong with 3DS Max on your home PC and it rolled back but installed everything else. Some screenshots should help us to identify this from the installation complete screen. If you try to install BDS again, does it say 3DS Max already installed? Have you checked Add/Remove Programs etc.

I tried on my other computer (3rd computer) and surprisingly it does include 3dsmax but doesnt go through because need to update windows net framework. I suspected 3dsmax doesnt appear on my installation package due to clash with my old 3dsmax 2011. Will try this weekend hopefully everything goes well. Thanks by the way guys.
