It sounds like you have some issues related to Visual C++ redistributable for 2012..  I would uninstall it from the control panel and reinstall it from here

Hello @Anonymous

I would love to try and help; however, I have 4 questions:

  1. Does the application (Fusion) crash during install or does it install and crash upon launching
  2. Do you have any other Autodesk softwares/apps installed on your Computer and which may prevent you from performing a clean uninstall and reinstall from Autodesk Virtual Machine? (Clean uninstall/install will remove also all shared libraries and registry keys in common/shared between all Autodesk products
  3. Can you please state OS and version
  4. Which versions of Microsoft Visual C++ do you currently have listed (you have on your computer)

MSVCP110.dll could also crash if you don't have proper admin rights and/or special permissions has been set to the containing folder which only Owner may have rights to (under special permissions) can you check and verify

To clear you computer from all Autodesk components do the following:

  1. First, uninstall the program through the Windows Control Panel.
  2. Download and run the Microsoft Install/Uninstall Fixit utility (SEE INSTRUCTIONS HERE)  (DOWNLOAD HERE)
  3. Delete any residual Program Files from these location (The program folders should be clearly named)
    • C:\Program Files\Autodesk\
    • C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\
    • C:\Users\All Users\Autodesk\
    • C:\Users\**YOUR USERID**\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\
    • C:\Users\**YOUR USERID**\AppData\Local\Autodesk\
  4. Empty your TEMP folder.
    • To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Explorer and hit Enter. If prompted, you may ignore any files that are currently in use.
    • Alternatively; run Disk Cleanup (you can type Disk Cleanup in the windows run command) and clean all temp, web, and installation files) Note: this will help you also locate the log file (journal) in case future installation errors occure...this file will be recreated in your temp folder once you run installation again
  5. Reboot

Pre-Installation Check

  1. Logged on as an Administrator. (Or at least set ownership of the folders you are installing to the Windows User you are using)
  2. Disable your Antivirus and firewall software.
  3. Disable UAC (User Account Control) If you don't know how; see LINK HERE
  4. Add autodesk.com to your internet security safe/white list.

Installation

Download and install from Autodesk Virtual Agent click through the links to the download section of the product you need.  It will download in parts.  When you extract or just double click Part 1 you will be prompted to extract to C:\Autodesk (preserve this location). Once the extraction is finished the installation should start...from that point on it is straight forward

Note: If you receive any further error...locate the installation log file in the above temp folder %TEMP% and attach it in a reply to this post

Should this reply help in resolving the installation issue; please mark is with ACCEPT AS SOLUTION
