inquiry AUTODEST IP NUMBER

Hello, I am Sang Yup Baek at Korea Pukyong University.
I tried to install CAD program.
However, it is impossible to install the CAD program due to the firewall.
When I contacted the Information Computer Center, it says that the AUTODEST IP NUMBER is required to unblock the firewall.
Therefore, we would appreciate it if you let us know the AUTODEST IP NUMBER in order to release the firewall.

No end user needs this..

There's a couple of ways to properly download and install your Autodesk product to your machine.  Please review this article and the solution it provides.

If the installation does fail using the preferred methods, please post your installation log file here so we can review it.

Posting info: Sometimes the installation log file contains the serial # that was assigned to you.  Open your log file using Windows Notepad and perform a search on "/SN".  Depending on the number of installation attempts, your serial # may be located throughout the log file.  If present, remove or "X" out your serial # prior to posting.

Try to call out with the URL rather then the IP address described below, or you can try locating the IP of a domain by using the Command Prompt > "ping" command. 

You can try to review this following information below to make these changes to your firewall & proxy settings: 

• Adjust Lan Settings & Proxy Setting
• Use Fiddler to locate web sessions being processed on the system, to locate network traffic

A firewall is not a personal computer firewall, but a school-managed firewall.
When I contacted the university's Information Computer Center, it says that a starting IP address is required to dismantle the firewall.
The starting ip address here refers to autodesk ip.

Have you even tried following the information that I provided for downloading and installing your educational software?

Yes, but I can not install it after downloading from the site due to university firewall. Likewise, it is said that the inquiry result requires the IP of the starting point of the download.

If you used the virtual agent to download the parts and run it, it shouldn't have anything to do with your firewall or infrastructure.  Can you just share a screen shot of what you're seeing.  It will make easier to troubleshoot your issue. 

Update:  In addition if you can download other software from the internet and don't have this problem than you must be doing something different with Autodesk software.

To download & install you will need access to certain sites & system files, if you have limited access in your environment I recommend following the steps above that @Mark.Lancaster provided & try another network environment with uninterrupted internet access.
