Home use license

The company that I work for has a commercial license for Inventor professional.  Is it possible to take my work computer home and still be able to work?  Do I have to request a home use license?

Home use license is only for when you have a perpetual network license on an active maintenance plan or a multi-user subscription.

Also if you do have a network license, you can borrow the license before you leave.
