HELP!!!! HideFileExtension Error!

Does anyone know how to solve this installation problem? No forum really solved this.

Please help! I live really far from school and really need this to complete the course.

I've tried downloading maya 2014 for many times now. 

And every time it gives me the same "HideFileExtension Error" say's can't find module "foundation"

Hello Teerhc,

That error can actually typically be ignored. Just click the terminate button and the install should continue and finish.

I terminated it then it would start showing the components are failed to install. 

And says installation failed on exit when finish.

Looks like the install went ok. There's green checks on all the products. What's happening when you launch Maya?

when I choose "activate" it gives error110

for "try" it's error 20

I'm using the 3 year student licenese key

If you are running on mavricks or newer OS make sure you have installed the latest service packs.

Hello I am having the same issue even when downloading this service pack, Do you have another solution or an up to date service pack for Maya 2014? thank you!

Which error specifically are you getting? The 110 error at activation or the zipimport error? If it's the later what happens when you hit terminate?
