GMAX registered user id code

Hey all,

I've installed gmax 1.2 when I click on open, I get this box that says:

Welcome to gmax!

This installation of gmax requires a Registered user Identification Code, You can

obtain your free Registered user Identification Code by visiting:

http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/register/

and a box to enter the code. (see below)what so ever, at least what I can fine.

Problem is, it directs me to http://area.autodesk.com/?v=120&c=100 . which has no reference, what so ever, to anything gmax.

I know Autodesk does not support gmax, apparently, neither does anyone else. I like free, free is good, free can be a pain in the dairy-air.

Can anyone tell me whats going on and where can I get this all elusive gmax Registered user Identification Code?

Thanks...

I found a Wikipedia article that indicated in 2005, the promotional GMAX free version or 1.2 has been obsoleted/no longer offered but you can get it here (http://www.turbosquid.com/Gmax).

In case no one helped you yet, or someone else has the same problem, download it from Turbosquid (the link the other guy posted) and they'll give you a registration code for the gmax you got from them.

autodesk discontinued this software back in 2005 they no longer support or provide licenses

turbosquid provides the license
