Getting unlimited Cloud Credits for Student account

Anonymous
Not applicable

I just created my student account and signed in in ReCap (2019) with this account. According to this page:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Getting-unlimited-Cloud-...

I should be able to see my cloud credit under Account detail, but I can't find Account detail under ReCap, also not under Recap Photo. In ReCap I can choose from: Explore purchase options..., Manage License... and Sign out.

However, when I open Recap Photo, it shows that I'm using a trial and have 30 days left. And when I click on this, it shows that I have 42 cloud credits available.

What am I doing wrong? And how can I get these unlimited credits?

When I open Inventor 2019 and click on my account, I do can choose Account Details, but there I can't find Services. I can only choose between Edit Profile and Change Password.

Hello @Anonymous,

I do not see any Recap product in your Autodesk Account.

Educational licenses require that you set up a educational account & visit the edu site under the "Free Software" page & select it from the drop-down. For each product & version you wish to have access to & receive in your Autodesk Account you need to visit that site & select the product.

  • An internet connection is required to activate, every 30days you should be connected to the internet at some point (to verify your license & use the software)

I used my old account to post this question here because my student account shows my full name as username, and I don't want that to be public 🙂

Can I send you my account information by private message?

I'm sorry for the delayed response, I had the flu so didn't check my computer. I just started the program and I now have the Student License. So I guess the solution was just wait a (few?) day(s).
