German Language Pack decompression empty folder

Hello, I try to decompress the German language pack for inventor 2016 and get an empty folder. I tried different downloads with different Systems (Win7 64Bit, Win 2008R2) with the same result. http://download.autodesk.com/us/support/files/inventor_2016_language_packs/Inventor_2016_German_Lang... After accepting the dialog window the "Autodesk Self Extract" closes itself after 2 seconds. Is the a different approach to decompress the files?

FYI: I tried the French language pack http://download.autodesk.com/us/support/files/inventor_2016_language_packs/Inventor_2016_French_Lang... which decompresses correctly. The problem only exists with the german version of the language pack.

I had the same problem. It looks like, that during the signing process from autodesk something went wrong. As workaround, create a certificate and sign it. Then the extract process works.

Thank you for the analysis of the problem. As I'm not a software developer I can't self-sign executables. I'm hoping that Autodesk will fix the download.

Still got no response from Autodesk support.

A simple workaround for this expired Certificate is:

Set the clock to a date prior to 21st. The decompression works.

Hi Bergkatze,

Thank you for making us aware of the found issue with the language pack for Inventor.

I forwarded this to our division, in order to amend the signature and can confirm that this is now resolved and a new version of the language pack has been re-published on the download website.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Martin
