same error, same download size etc. Still get the error

this is where the path is in on my install media: D:\Autodesk\AutoCAD_2022_English_Win_64bit_dlm\x64\AdSSO

do you see the ADSSO.msi file in this folder?

Still on that old 2015AutoCAD-era Win7? Says so in your signature, but your screenshot is not a match.

What else is unique about your setup? Is this in an office and you have limited user ability in WIn10?

I have not been in here for years. Need to update my signature:-). I am on 2021, AutoCAD, Revit & Inventor

I downloaded Adsso.msi seperately and installed that one first. restarted and ran the ACAD 2022 setup again. It worked now
