Error during initialization

I am trying to install Revit LT 2019 Trial Version. I download the initial installer but once the setup initialization starts within a few seconds I get an error message (see attached).

 

I have emptied all my temp files and removed the full Revit 2019 trial I was testing out (and had installed with no issues!) prior to starting the download, but this hasn't helped. 

 

I am working on Windows 10. 

 

If I go to the file in my downloads and click on it again the setup dialog comes back up but this time a different error message appears, suggesting the connection has been lost. I have disabled my firewall but no change. 

 

Any help much appreciated.

Go through the steps outlined in the article below:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/download/prepare-system

 

Download your Revit LT 2019 from this website instead (use Browser Download method when given the choice):

https://ava.autodesk.com/

(Click "Download Autodesk Products" and follow the prompts)

 

Once the file(s) are downloaded, run the 1st part only (it will have something like 001_00X in its name, X being the total number of parts) to start extracting the installer. The installation process will automatically start once complete and ask you to specify installation path.

 

Let us know if you have any issues using the above method.

I followed all the steps you sent over, and I am still getting the same
error message (see attached image).

When I ran the first file it asked me for a destination, and auto
suggested my C drive, so I went with that.
