Error Code 46

I have uninstalled AutoCAD2015 on one computer (running windows 10), and I am trying to install on another computer (running windows 10), but every time I try to activate the licence I keep getting the error code 46, even though I have followed the correct procedure (see attached screenshot).

What correct procedure please? The pop-up says you have a licensing problem and you need to contact Autodesk Customer Support to resolve it.

Or did you contact them? they can take up to 48-hours (workdays, so that's not until Wednesday this week) to reach out if I'm not mistaken. The weekend does not count as a business day.

Let us know.

Error 46
Not eligible for online activation.
Your product cannot be activated online due to one or more of the following reasons:
- the product version you are trying to activate is not available under the license for your upgraded product
- your subscription has expired
- you are not using the most up-to-date serial number

These 3 possible scenarios are as follows:

1) The product version you are trying to activate is not available under the license for your upgraded product - There are a couple of possible reasons here. You might be trying to activate AutoCAD 2015 thinking this is what you have a perpetual license for, but in reality the last activated version is different and you can only use, for example, 2018. As we don't have access to your license information you would need to check with Autodesk: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support

Or, you are trying to activate AutoCAD 2015, but you never had a license for this product - for example, back in 2015 you had a subscription to AutoCAD Architecture 2015, which was subsequently upgraded to AutoCAD with toolsets. You would need to install AutoCAD Architecture 2015 and not AutoCAD 2015 (different product code). Same issue if you have upgraded from a Design Suite to a Collection but installed AutoCAD as AutoCAD instead of a Suite (again, different product key) - or installed as a Suite but trying to activate with an AEC serial number...

2) Your subscription has expired - you no longer have an entitlement to use this license because it was a subscription (rental) and not a perpetual license, or

3) You are not using the most up-to-date serial number - you are trying to use a serial number for 2014 on a 2015 product version, etc.
