Error 2 When Starting Up Maya 2015 (Education)

Hello,

I got the Secondary school Education license for Maya 2015. After installation and launching it for the first time I recieve a dialog box and window as shown below:

Clicking 'OK' will close the program. It never asks me to enter a serial code of some kind.

Can someone help me?

EDIT: I have looked at other threads of similar nature, the most common thing I see is 'Error 20' but not 'Error 2'

Hello. You appear to have a bad install. Uninstall and reinstall with the serial information included. Then install the service pack and retest.
