Error 1712 while installing Revit 2021

One of our students get error 1712 while installing Revit 2021. The installer has just installed the licensing service and proceeds to install the main character, Revit 2021.

Replying to myself.

Running setup.exe as Administrator solved the problem, i.e. rightclicking the file and selecting Run as Administrator.

We did get the Error 1712 dialog box during Revit 2021, but all remaining components got installed and in the end we got green check marks.

Now, off to install the 2021.1 update and some metric libraries and templates.
