education license but cannot open or use it

Hi, I have a S # and a product key and began using the Autocad for Mac in March 2018. However, I have not used it in several months and when I try to open it, it sends me error messages or times out. I have spent way too much time with lovely Ava, but she cannot help me.

What am I doing wrong? and why did it 'de-activate'? if that is what happened?
