If I buy the 1 year subscription from Eagle, will I need the internet to use the product. I have  hard-drives to download the programs, but no permanent internet. Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately, with the Autodesk version, you will need Internet access at least once a fortnight and usually at the most inconvenient time. Some of us old-timers tried to persuade AD not to do that - we had simple one-time licenses for the CadSoft versions - and several people with DoD or similar restrictions also pointed out that it's a show-stopper for them, but AD just tell us to get with the times because all software is going that way.

Hi @gamal.mothersil,

Eagle is now merged into Fusion 360, which does require the internet but can be run offline for up to 30 successive days.
