DWG Trueview 2016 Machine Install

I currently am in a virtual environment trying to run DWG Trueview 2016. I would like a per machine install of the product so that all users can run the product without the install per user. This can be in the form of a new setup file or install switches.

How is the install kicked off? I see that it is installed when clicking the dwgviewr.exe, but in my environment the install also runs at logon. I have RES Workspace Manager managing my user workspaces which essentially loads user settings. Setup.exe wants to run when the composer configures the workspace.

The problem seems to stem DWG Trueview 2016 being a per user install instead of a per machine install.

Even if RES Workspace Manager is not installed in a virtual environment with non-persistant profiles, an install would occur each time a user performs a login and wanted to use the program.

As far as I know DWG Trueview instalation is per machine.  I have it installed on my machine and every accout that I use on this PC has access to DWG Trueview..

The installation of TrueView 2016 is splitted in two parts. A "per machine" part and a "per user" part. If you start TrueView in a new environment Trueview checks for registry keys in the HKCU tree. If they do not exists the "per user" part is triggered to create the registry keys and files in %USERPROFILE%\...

If your user profiles are non-persistent, then every time a users log on, the TrueView installer is triggered to install the missing registry keys and files.

But this is a normal behaviour for a lot of programs.
