Download error: -105: unable to download from dds.autodesk.com

I have several deployments and installs that refuse to download from dds.autodesk.com. I get a -105 error and then the deployment or install fails.  I have gone through the entire removal of all software and the ODIS, but the error still occurs. I have also tried the web install and the will start and then fail.

I have attached the log, but I have tried every way to get these to run.

These deployments and installs all have run for the past 2 weeks without issue. I do not know why they are all the sudden having a problem unless there is an unreported outage.

All users that I am attempting to install the software on all have 500mbps or better, myself included. As stated these have been working for over 2 weeks.

Log file is attached and would help with any assistance.

This article lists the errors in the log file: "Unable to download" when downloading an Autodesk online deployment

Thanks, but that article only leads to more questions that answers. I did solve this on my own and told Autodesk the solution for Windows 11. This issue only happened on Windows 11 machines. Windows 10, yes my company still has a couple of those around, the deployments were okay.

I forgot to come back on here to state I found the issue. I have let Autodesk know of this issue with Windows 11 and Windows Defender.

For those who would like to know what was blocking the download, there is a Dev Drive toggle on Windows 11 that can block the download from operating. Once that is turned off your deployment will install.

For standalone installs and web installers this could be the issue with some software packages. I did not get to deep into it as I wear multiple hats and am behind in building a full pressure pipe catalog and Revit process pipe catalog. I only ran into this issue with the Revit web installer, but did not with the Civil 3D web installer. You may also find the toggle will block your profile from loading with the deployment. Just go old school and manually bring in the shortcut and the ARG to get around this without a reinstall.
