Cant Find 3DS Max

I had installed 3DS Max 2015 a while ago but then I had upgraded my Hard Drive and cloned everything over, I uninstalled the programe but now Im having problems re-installing it. When Im aout to re-install it, it stated that 3DS Max is already installed but when I search for it within my Drives there is nothing there even in Control Panel. Any solutions?

I have requested for a liscence transfer but Im not sure if thats the problem?

Welcome to the community..

If you have WIn 7 or 8/8.1 run the microsoft fixit and remove all related 3DS Max regarding the version you are trying to installl.  With Microsoft fixit you have to repeat the process for each item you need to remove.

If you have WIn 10 use the new Windows Uninstaller which can be located here.

THen go to the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.  Download all of the parts first (some applications may only have a single part to download) and then go to your download location.  Extract (double click) part 1 (or the single part download) and in a few seconds the extraction will start.   It will then prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk and once the extraction is finished the installation will start. Also make sure you have admin rights, UAC is turned off and Anti-Virus temporary disabled prior to installation.
