Cant change installation path

Im trying to install 3DSMAX on my HD witch has a lot of space for it to allocate but its default installing on my main SSD witch has only 8gb left. Even when i change the installation path on the Autodesk App it still installs on my SSD and i dont want to fill it. So is there any way that i can install in my secondary drive?

not really parts of the program has to install to the os drive

if you are running out of space you will need to clean up your os drive

No .... but you can do a few other things:

1) More you downloads and C:\Autodesk folder to your 2nd drive.   (I keep all of mine on a cloud drive)

2) Clean out your %temp% folder 

3) Go in and clean up your "disk space" and include updates etc .. if that hasn't been done before, you might get quite a few GB's
