Hi,

 

I just bought a new licence for AutoCad LT 2017 but I cannot enter the Activation Code. I only see the screen where I can enter the Serial Number but did that three times allready. Unfortunately it doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe not ment for Windows 10? It worked perfectly well till yesterday.

 

Please help!

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the Autodesk Community!

 

For you r AutoCAD LT 2017 monthly subscription, you don't need an activation code. To activate your license, please use your credentials.

 

User ID : roosvonk000 + password

So this is a second activation of the same license?
Or a second activation because LT2017 is suddenly asking for it again when you did it all yesterday?

Hi Muriel,

 

Thanks for your reply. Autocad dit not start up again after I entered my new serial number. It said that the License Manager was not installed properly and Autocad would shut down. After a chat session with support I was asked to uninstall Autocad. So I uninstalled allmost everything thas has anything to do with Autodesk ( there is one file with the Autodesk Desktop App that I can not get rid of, still working on it). Now I am waiting for a email from support with the solution and a sign that I can download the product again. Waiting now for 2,5 hours. Any tips to speed up the proces of problem solving are most welcome.

Hi Pendean,

 

Thanks for your reaction. I had a license for a month which was expired. Bought a new one and got a new serial code. When I entered it I got a pop up that the License Manager was not installed properly. Now waiting for a solution to come by email from support.

Problem is solved. I got an email from support that said some fixing procedures were made and I could download the product again. I did and AutoCad LT is working again, didn't even have to fill in the serial code. Thanks!
