Can't download Revit LT 2018

I can't download Revit 2018. The download goes to a certain point and then rolls back. The installation log says that c++ is failing to install. So i uninstall any existing version of c++ on my computer, but the result is the same. Is there any "live" help that Autodesk will provide for me in dealing with this? I've looked at other people's posts, tried AVA, etc, but they don't help.

Hi @tn-teach,

 

We may need some more information, but if you haven't tried a Browser Download & prepared your system for a download & install, you can give it a try. Download the software via the Autodesk Virtual Agent or Autodesk account using the Browser Download from the drop down. 

 

Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the program use MSfixitTool to complete the uninstall 
Log in as an Administrator 
Empty your TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter 
Temporarily disable your Antivirus software & Firewall
Temporarily disable UAC:  Windows 7 , Windows 10 
Download via the Autodesk Virtual Agent (download all parts)
Use Browser Download Method from Autodesk Account or via the Autodesk Virtual Agent (download all the parts)

No, it  still didn't work. I couldn't find MSfixit from your link but did my best to yet again uninstall all c++. I emptied out my temp file. I went to AVA and chose the option of downloading the 2 part exe files. Disabled the firewall. Disabled the UAC. Then I initiated the first one. Same thing. Revit will not install.
