Can't download Fusion Personal because download process doesn't accept my email address

I decided to give Fusion Personal a trial and created an account on Autodesk. When I try to continue the product download, the web page asks me to enter my email address. I enter my email address and the download process asks me to enter a valid e-mail address. The email address is valid (indeed I'm logged into Autodesk right now with it). How can I get past this ridiculous block?

First impressions matter. This hasn't created a good first impression.

Strange? If you have another e-mail address, I would try that one. Or create a Gmail, Hotmail or whatever account.
