Can not activate inventor hsm 2018 Educational license

Installed Inventor hms 2018 through education license. I received serial no. 900-54.... and key C13I1 by e-mail. After install during activation attempt I entered serial no and key. Errored out with wrong key. Need to know how to proceed.

C13I1 is the product key for the 2017 version. Sounds like you requested the 2017 version but downloaded the 2018 version.

I think maybe i did download 2017 version but then deleted it and downloaded 2018 version. I got the key though from autodesk email. I expected the latest email would have the proper key. Whats my solution. Thanks.

You requested the 2017 version.  If you want the 2017 version, download and install it.

If you want the 2018 version you have to go back and request it..   Simple as that..
