Hey everyone,

I am wanting to download AutoCAD for my home computer for educational purposes and i have noticed that you cant download the 3 year student license anymore. Does anyone know how to get a 3 year student license or another option i can look at besides renting the program?

I am also looking at downloading Fusion 360 for my home computer for educational purposes but i cant download the program for more then 30 days, anyone have any advise on where i can get a longer trial version like a 3 year student license?

TIA

Hi,

Are you registered as student?

Why can't you download an application, e.g. AutoCAD from your student account, where are you looking to and what happens when you try to download it from there?

In order to receive a free 3 yr student license you must be currently signed up and attending a qualified educational school https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/education-program/who-can-join/eligibility-edu-institutions

It sounds like you just want to learn the software at home which is not considered a qualified educational location.
