AutoCAD Mechanical Deployment Ignores Network License Configuration in Image

Hi,

I have two deployments of AutoCAD Mechanical 2020: Autodesk ID(AID) and Floating License(FL). The AID deploys and prompts for an Autodesk login on first run. The FL image doesn’t get setup as network so it too prompts for an Autodesk ID. When I built the FL deployment I put in the appropriate floating license information.

* Where/how is the license type stored in the deployment image? Or could it be a switch in the install command that I'm missing?

* Are there known issues with this? I believe I’ve been successful doing this with Inventor 2020.

Thanks,

-Brian

It think the issue is that you can't modify the existing deplyment by switching licensing types.  It won't rewrite whatever governs the license setup.  You have to build a whole new deployment image for each licensing scenario.
