AutoCAD Files are trying to open in older version that has been uninstalled

Hello,

I used to have AutoCAD 2019, but I have uninstalled it and have installed 2020, but when I attempt to open a CAD file, it says that Windows can't find AutoCAD 2019. I have tried to set Windows to associate dwg files with CAD 2020, but when I go through the 'choose a different app' menu, it just keeps the location set to the former location of AutoCAD 2019, even though it's not there anymore. Even when I set the app for opening dwg files to the AutoCAD DWG Launcher, it gives me an error message saying that they can't find the 2019 acad.exe file. I attached a screenshot of issue below. Has anyone run into this before? Any help is appreciated!!

You actually have to start your newer software first then open a DWG file, then close it, before you can reassign your DWG file to DWG LAUNCHER) @jonadab_sanni

Process is explained here if you need it:

Best wishes.

Thanks, this article led me to another article that had me edit the registry for AutoCAD.
