AutoCAD and Proxy PAC File

Hi Everyone,

We recently purchased AutoCAD for two of our staff, when they attempt to sign in to the application they get the below license error.

We currently use a proxy PAC file in our environment to delivery proxy configuration settings to clients, based on my testing I believe the application is experiencing issues with the PAC file. I am aware you can manually enter proxy settings once you have logged into the application, since the application closes immediately once you press OK on the error dialog is there a way to do this via a configuration file, say within in the application directory?

I searched the forums and I found the below post from mid-2016, advising that proxy PAC files were not supported, is this still the case? Has there been any progress in implementing support for this configuration?

Thank you!

At this point in time we are still performing testing. Can anyone confirm if this product is compatible with auto-configuration scripts for proxy settings (PAC files)?

Amongst other things, we have attempted steps 4 & 5, we will look at steps 1-3 shortly.

4. User is already an administrator.

5. Disabled AV and Firewall, no difference.
