Artcam 2018 Demo

Hi

I have downloaded and installed ArtCAM_Standard_2018_ML_Win_64bit_dlm.sfx

I ran it as Administrator.

It appeared to install ok.

When I run it and click on Start a Trial, A window pops up with "You are not licensed to run this program on this machine"

Clicking OK ends the programme.

I clicked on Sign in with the same result.

Apart from License key and network there are no other clickable buttons.

Help please.

Please note, C:\Programdata is a hidden folder and you may need to adjust your viewing settings.

 

What sub-folder structure do you have under this folder ​​C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS?

The LGS folder is empty.

BTW, I got a message yesterday saying I am banned from the Forum for X,0000 seconds. What's that all about?

As far as i am aware I did nothing wrong.

Create this sub-folder C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\A9BJ1_2018.0.0.F

 

Start Windows notepad and type _USER as shown.

 

Save the text file as LGS.DATA  Make sure it didn't get saved as LGS.DATA.TXT

 

Navigate to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ folder

Delete the ADUT folder and it's contents

 

 

Launch the application again, does it work?

Well hopefully messing around with the license files will not get you banned again...  Just kidding..  Its a stupid message that pops up and don't worry about..  I was getting hit by it this morning as well and I wasn't even signed it..

Followed your instructions ok.

There is NO ADUT folder in

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ folder

Ran programe again, same message when I clicked Start Trial

I gave you the wrong product code folder information..  I gave you the product code for Premium Artcam and not the Standard versuib.  I should've paid attention to the information you provided in your original post.

 

Rename the folder C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\A9BJ1_2018.0.0.F to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\A9CJ1_2018.0.0.F and try again.

 

Good luck and let us know if that resolved the issue.

Hi Mark

All went well yesterday, tried program and created a model.

Today when I try to run program and open model it comes up with error message.

"An Autodesk product failed to send the required value for SERIALNUM.

The error report sent to Autodesk may be incomplete"

When I click OK, the program closes.

I have sent error report but heard nothing back yet.
