An operating system restart is pending...Custom or not

I have searched & completed all the suggestions from autodesk, the forums, & elsewhere

Windows 11

i9-10900X

32gb RAM

Quadro P2200

800gb free

I have downloaded the install & a custom with no luck.

  • I have removed 2015-2022 Redistributable & cleared the registry of the auto-update key.
  • I was able to to run the non-custom with a "-q" and that installed Autodesk Access & an Identity upgrade.
  • I tried "
C:\Autodesk\{137904BB-6878-450F-B571-D819324CEBB8}\image\installer.exe -i deploy --offline_mode --ui_mode full -o C:/Autodesk\{137904BB-6878-450F-B571-D819324CEBB8}\image\Collection.xml --installer_version 1.41.0.249  REBOOT=ReallySuppress" for the shortcut (there is no bat file as the documentation states)
  • Fastboot is disabled
  • I have rebooted 10+ times😠
  • Windows is full up to date & no reboots are necessary.

Help!

Autodesk was installed but it was removed weeks ago (don't ask). Prior to trying to install, I removed all remnants via appwiz.cpl, deleted c:\autodesk, c:\program files\autodesk, c:\program files (x86)\autodesk

@enviroSZPCZ

This is a known issue for years.  However, a reboot will typically work.  In this case, you can delete the PendingFileRenameOperations from the Registry

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager/PendingFileRenameOperati

We typically, do this for Vault Installs as documented here: "Reboot Needed" when running Vault Server installation system check (autodesk.com)

I did not have the key. I did have the auto-update key again, which I removed & it started the install....but it got to 4%. Reversed itself & gave me Error 131133. Which I cannot find any records of?

I have tried all these solutions, but unfortunately, none have worked...is there anyway else to solve this problem?

PC/laptop wipe and reinstall/reimage if an all new user-login "start over" is not working either.
