Am I allowed to sell Fusion 360 models using the student license?

I don't want to make a business out of it or anything. Just selling models I make here and there because I don't have much reason not to.

I know the limit for personal edition is $1,000 annually, but I didn't seem to find what the one for student is (if there is one).

I found a few threads on this but they seemed outdated (2015-2016).

Thanks in advance for any help!

its explained on the student community website but students licenses are not allowed to be used for commercial usage

what makes those threads outdated?

the information about student licenses will never change on how they can be used

Nope for two reasons:

In addition to other replies for reason #1 (licensing violation)... Most schools by default own all the work you create while a student or while you use student software you acquired as part of being part of them.

Find out before you really get into trouble on more than one front.

@Anonymous

Just a heads up if you wanted to make money as a hobby business, create a separate account on your computer just to make sure there is a definied gap between projects, it's less of a problem because it's stored on the cloud but it just ensured files stay for their intended purposes.

If he's setting up a 2nd account ...then he shouldn't really need a student license if he's getting a free hobbyist license.

Kind of going around the issue / loop hole way to avoid the conflict of the student license.

@leowarren34  probably not the best thing to suggest ... ways around things.   JMHO
